About Social Sciences Interdisciplinary at UB
The Social Sciences Interdisciplinary Degree Programs let students study a topic area that thematically overlaps several academic departments. Students may choose to major in one of six focus areas: Cognitive Science, Environmental Studies, Health and Human Services, International Studies, Legal Studies, or Urban and Public Policy. Each program is designed to offer choice and flexibility in building the program most suitable for individual interests.
Degrees Offered
Undergraduate: B.A., B.S., or Minor (in Social Sciences Interdisciplinary)
Concentrations: (B.A. programs) Cognitive Science, Environmental Studies, Health and Human Services, International Studies, Legal Studies, Urban and Public Policy; (B.S. or Minor programs) Environmental Studies
Combined: B.A./M.S.W. (Health and Human Services concentration/Graduate School of Social Work)
