About Geology at UB

The Department of Geology offers a BS degree that emphasizes the scientific foundation of geology along with a strong science background to prepare students for employments as a geologist or for graduate school. The department also maintains a high quality BA degree program for those students wishing to pursue a career path such as environmental law or earth science teaching at the secondary education level.
