About Comparative Literature at UB
Comparative literature is the study and comparison of literary, philosophical, and cultural issues that cut across national borders and historical boundaries or which do not fit conventional disciplinary categories. The department takes an interdisciplinary approach; classes are taught by professors from a number of relevant departments.
