About Anthropology at UB

Anthropology uses ethnographic, biological, historical, and other social and natural science skills in a unique study of humankind. It studies all aspects of the human condition through archaeology, physical or biological anthropology, and cultural anthropology. In the post-9/11 world, cultural anthropology is especially valuable in providing essential understanding about other cultures. Our highly-acclaimed programs in medical anthropology and primate anatomy offer unique concentration for premedical and predental students.
