About Art History at UB
Art History is the study of visual arts—-painting, sculpture, graphic arts, architecture, photography, and decorative arts—-in Western and non-Western societies as a means of cultural expression. UB's art history program is distinguished by its emphasis on modern and contemporary art and architecture.
